Affordable Vacations in NASCAR Country

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

Visitors to NASCAR Country don’t have to dig deep into their pockets to enjoy world class attractions.

Admission is free at the race shops and museums at Hendrick Motorsports, Roush-Fenway Racing and Stewart-Haas Racing. Visitors pay nothing to watch the cars being built, get up close to restrictor plates and valve covers or, if they’re lucky, even watch a pit crew train or catch their favorite driver for an autograph or handshake.

For only $5 a person at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, visitors can tour the superspeedway most NASCAR drivers call home and get a close-up look at areas that are off-limits on race days … the Sprint Cup garage, pit road and Victory Circle.

Even shopping at Concord Mills can mean savings. Among its 200 stores are many manufacturer outlets and off-price retailers.

Visitors can pick up a Green Flag Card that mean even more value for shopping, dining and entertainment. Or, they can select one of many cost-saving Vacation Packages.
